Amid the advances of knowledge in the Sport Management area, the Podium Sport Studies Review represents an interdisciplinary forum for the publication of scientific articles. According to its editorial guidelines, this medium provides a platform for dissemination of conceptual developments, empirical studies and practical cases not restricted to a particular school of thought. PODIUM aspires to embody the product of debates among researchers and managers that are central to the interests of scientific and technological development of this field. This journal is the result of this effort of the academic and professional communities to establish a means to discuss works based strictly on scientific methods.
