The master is based on a contemporary approach linked to communication, digital development, economic sustainability, and entrepreneurship. The project consortium is made up of 12 HEIs based in 6 EU member countries (Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Malta and Cyprus) and 2 neighbouring countries (Tunisia and Lebanon), all with different expertise and experiences in this field. The workplan is essentially divided into three main phases.A first phase of analysis and study on the existing training courses in the cultural heritage field; the network of actors and stakeholders active in the Mediterranean area; good practices and lessons learnt on double degrees at the international level.A second phase focused on the actual development of the master's program, leading to the accomplishment of the final study plan, the pedagogical model, the teaching evaluation methods, and the administrative\management conditions ruling the master.A third phase aimed to reach all the needed agreements among partners and National authorities in charge of education, as well as to disseminate the achieved results to a targeted audience. The project is expected to have an impact on 2 main groups:- Students from all over the world who will have the chance to deepen their knowledge and interest on topics related to cultural heritage conservation, thus increasing their employment opportunities.- European and non-European universities that will strengthen cooperation and improve their educational skills getting closer to the market trends and future needs

It is therefore crucial to develop new efficient and reliable methods to model the urban microclimate; in fact, these models can support urban planners and policymakers to create more comfortable and sustainable cities. High computational requirements limit existing numerical methodologies, and DANTE fits in this context and aims to create a new paradigm for fast and reliable numerical simulations bridging the fields of model order reduction, machine learning, and data assimilation. The idea is to create a research team to answer many unresolved questions in model order reduction for complex and real-life urban microclimate simulations. Particular emphasis will be given to advanced machine learning tools, which incorporate physics knowledge, aiming to improve the accuracy, interpretability, and reliability of predictive models. The identified tasks cover a wide range of different topics: dimensionality reduction of the solution manifold in problems governed by complex physical principles, uncertainty quantification, data assimilation, and inverse modeling. The new tools will have the agility of data-driven methods in complex nonlinear settings and the physical rigor of projection-based methods with quantified errors. The developed methods will significantly impact digital transformation, enabling digital twins of urban environments. Possible applications include, but are not limited to, urban air pollution, heat island modeling, wind loads on buildings, and inverse modeling approaches.

It will examine the multiple identities of enslaved persons, the communities and networks that they created or participated in, and how slave agency brought about major political, social, economic and cultural changes in the ancient world. By exploring the various forms of slave agency, SLaVEgents will offer a radically new perspective on antiquity from the point of view of history from below. The project moves beyond the usual focus on slavery in classical Greece and Roman Italy to offer a comprehensive examination of the history of enslaved persons across Western Eurasia and North Africa between 1000 BCE and 300 CE. SLaVEgents is the first project to examine together all ancient slaveries from Mesopotamia to the Atlantic, and include sources in the full range of ancient languages (Assyrian, Babylonian, Hebrew, Aramaic, Phoenician, Egyptian, Greek, Latin) and the relevant archaeological data. The research team – composed of the PI, eight senior researchers, seven post-doctoral researchers and three PhD candidates – will construct a large-scale digital prosopography of all attested ancient slaves which will include all relevant sources in the original and in English translation. The Linked Open Data created by the digital prosopography will enable new forms of quantitative and qualitative research and will make a significant contribution to Digital Humanities. The monograph and the two collective volumes of the project will offer an important step towards rewriting the history of antiquity with slaves at its centre. In addition, the project will deliver fifteen articles, three PhD dissertations, three workshops, one international conference and a website.
