"In this project the two schools of music from Harryda( Sweden) and Vésztő( Hungary), are planning to implement new innovative approaches in music education, the Kodály-El Sistema approach. The School of Arts in Harryda has collaboration with El Sistema in western Sweden, Gothenburg Symphonic Orchestra and Gothenburg Wind Orchestra. Their teachers are trained in the methodology. The El Sistema approach will be studied by Hungarian music teachers, because it is more than a music program, it is about changing life through music. El Sistema's approach to music education emphasizes intensive ensemble participation from the earliest stages, group learning, peer teaching and a commitment to keeping the joy and fun of music learning and music making ever-present. The School of Arts in Vésztő has collaboration with other music schools from the region and the Symphony Orchestra from Békéscsaba. The music teachers are trained in implementing the Kodály-approach, which has long-lasting traditions in the region, where Béla Bartók used to collect authentic folk-music. For both Kodály and Bartók,folk music was the inspiration, as well as the musical basis, for many of the compositions. Kodály was determined to reform the teaching of music and to make it an integral part of the education of every child. The Kodály music education is more a philosophy about the role of music in society and in the lives of children, than a ""method"" of music instruction.Further, the aim is to instil within each child a love of music based on knowledge and understanding, stemming from first-hand, active music-making experiences, beginning with childhood chants, folk songs, and singing games. In the project we are planning a workshop and conference for educators and a music festival with the participation of Cultural school students in every country. The Hungarian students and teachers will experience how El Sistema works in Sweden. The Swedish students and teachers will see, how Kodály Music Education is implemented from eary ages in the institutions from Vésztő, they will study authentic folk music and learn folk dances at the local Vintage festival. Our project will culminate in two joint concerts, one in Hungary, and one in Sweden. A DVD and a booklet of best practice will be made about the experiences, to share with other partners. The project will increase the interest to play music together and at a high level in ensemble, can increase interest in folk music from other countries, and can demonstrate methods to link the different regions of Europe through music."

"'Health education for life"" project responded to the needs of the three regions to develop and improve their educational offer in the area of health education for secondary school students. According to the opinions of the project partners health education is not treated in a proper way in school education systems. In most EU countries in a school curriculum a subject called health education does not exist. Some topics are implemented in other subjects, most often Biology and Physical Education. In the same time teachers, especially in secondary schools, are under pressure of exam results, it is one of the main factors during school evaluation. Therefore health education is formally part of school curriculum but not much time is spent on it. Moreover, because of economic crisis in many countries, there are not any doctors or nurses in schools. According to recent researches done by American Heart Association 20% secondary school students are current smokers, 80% of students do not eat recommended five servings of vegetables and fruit per day, more and more adolescents become pregnant each year, overweight and obesity is a growing problem - approximately 17% of today's youth are overweight. Promoting and establishing healthy behaviours for younger people is more effective and easier than efforts to change unhealthy behaviours already established in adults.A long term objective of the project was the improvement of healthy behaviours among secondary school students in project partner regions. The project also aimed at raising the awarness of health education among teachers, students, their parents and local educational authorities. Our Strategic Partnership undertook activities to improve teachers' competences relating to use of open educational resources (OER) and ICT.Participants of the ""Health education for life"" project were from local governments, secondary schools and NGOs from Hungary, Poland and Turkey. They were town and district offices' employees, school administrators, teachers and school support staff. There were parents, doctors and nurses among associated NGO members. There were 41 participants of two short-term joint staff training events, 186 people took part in two multiplier events. Local government institutions, schools and non - governmental organisations of partner regions investigated the current situation of health education in their regions. The main activities of the project included the development and implementation of new forms of health education teaching based on the use of the Internet platform. The platform offers methodological help for teachers who include health education topics as parts of lessons incorporated with other subjects. The project partners from Hungary, Poland and Turkey also prepared a teaching material ""Health education in secondary schools - activity book"". It contains quizzes, games and other activities which enable teachers to use active methods during their lessons.Project participants from partner organisations and from associated partners were able to improve their teaching skills. There were two short-term joint staff training events. The first one which was organized in Turkey focused on preparing its participants to use the Internet platform in an effective way. The other in Hungary aimed at professional development of teachers in the context of using OER materials prepared during project activities as its intellectual result. The project activities also included workshops (3 in each partner region), conferences (3 in each partner region), publishing 6 issues of a project newsletter and a project website. Three transnational project meetings helped to organise the project tasks in an effective way.Partners of the project used a number of manners to disseminate the results, experiences and products of the Strategic Partnership."

"""EDUCEO - Regional Industrial and Economic Research in Schools"" is the development of a school project that connects elementary schools and regional companies. Elementary schools usually cover the subject economics only superficially. The results of the two-year Erasmus+ project EDUCEO will be user-friendly didactic guides, free teaching materials and an online portal. The portal enables teachers to easily plan and execute the project in collaboration with regional companies. Thereby, the portal ensures that even schools and companies who did not participate in the development can carry out the project completely autonomously in the future. In elementary schools, the subject economics is usually only covered on surface-level. For elementary pupils, however, an age-appropriate and constructive introduction into the topic of business and entrepreneurship in their living environment is important. They need the basic economical knowledge in order to be able to develop ""entrepreneurial competence"" in the future. Due to being produced for a broader application, the teaching material for economics classes cannot meet the requirements of covering local information. Thus the children lack essential basic knowledge and practical experience in the field of work and production. Furthermore, teachers who want to provide an efficient and successful business education in elementary school are dependent on information from and cooperation with regional companies. EDUCEO aims to develop an information channel for schools, giving them direct access to information about regional companies and their economic fundamentals. The goals of the project are:• Development of a school project in which elementary schools and companies are networked• Teaching of economical contents for the development of entrepreneurial competence in primary schools• Ensuring the autonomous manageability of the project by teachers, made possible by:• Creation of a digital solution as a project output, allowing a free and uncomplicated dissemination and use of the final school projectThe project EDUCEO is carried out by four project-partners from Austria, Germany and Hungary. The participating organizations have expertise in the fields of pedagogy, IT and business. Their joint drive is to modernize teaching and raise awareness among students and teachers for the economy in their environment. Project participants are schools and companies. Students will gain in the school project basic economic knowledge and first insights into the world of work and the opportunities it offers. Especially in the time of shortage of skilled workers, companies can increase their level of familiarity within the region and present themselves as attractive employers. The final school project will be carried out by regional pairs of school classes and companies. In order to provide the possibility of an autonomous completion of the project by the two participating parties without aid of an external expert, EDUCEO will develop a complete didactic introductory guide for the project. It will enclose specially designed, age-appropriate teaching materials and target-group-oriented instructions for the project implementation. In a testing phase, the project will be carried out with three to five schools and companies within the region of the project partners (Obersteiermark West, Freyung-Grafenau district, Köszeg district). Most of the participating schools and companies have already been identified as associated partners in advance. The resulting feedback will contribute to an iterative conception process and the development of the online portal. Combined with a contemporary user experience that will be tailored to the needs of the target groups, a modern and simple lesson preparation and project implementation in class will be made possible. The online portal, in which schools and companies are guided through the project, will also be tested in a digital run with three to five partner schools and the user feedback will be incorporated into the portal. At the end of the project, the final portal will be freely accessible online. The intellectual outputs of the project will be available in three languages (German, English and Hungarian) in digital form. This will enable teachers not related to the project and teachers in other EU member states to carry out the school project autonomously. The dissemination of the results is supported by a large number of associated partners who are involved in EDUCEO already from the beginning of the project.EDUCEO covers several desiderata of the European Commission regarding the promotion of entrepreneurial skills as well as the use of digital technologies in teaching in a modern classroom setting."

<< Objectives >>We notice 2 disturbing but interrelated tendencies: the growing alienation of Brussels and the citizen, the identification with the european unification process is diminishing. At the same time neonationalist movements are getting more support throughout the member states. Both processes are getting enforced by uncomplete blame-culture jounalism. Our main issue is to counteract these tendencies by showing tangible subsidiarity - which makes our EU-democracies more resilient.<< Implementation >>We're a hiking seminaree on politics with multinational students. By being on the move we're giving transparency to different regional applications to the same EU rules. We show the history forming our varieties of cultures and we're creating room for discussing the different answers i.e. to protection of minorities or in the application of EES. At the same time we establish a network of regional organisations to live subsidiarity and discuss european processes subsidiarily.<< Results >>We expect participants to define themselves more as Europeans and to be more concious about the fact that there's no contradiction between local roots and supranational structures. We also expect them to change their behaviour to a more ressourceorientated sustainable one. Among the organisations we expect the network becoming an established discussion place for the matters European Worklive, European Identity and Sustainable Travelling. We expect the transnational cooperation to continue.
