Tadeusza Kosciuszki w LublinieFunder: European Commission Project Code: 2019-1-FR01-KA229-062271Funder Contribution: 51,996 EURHealth and safety at work: an international issueThis two-year project involves two countries: France and Poland. There are two priorities : the support to individuals’ acquisition and development of basic skills and the promotion of a coherent approach of the languages teaching and learning. This project was born when partners felt the need to open up internationally, to valorize their vocational school, to exchange teaching practices, to develop the teaching of the European citizenship and to strengthen the regular practice of a foreign language (English). The partners also notice that one of the most important issue to them health and safety at work is an essential issue which involves many actors, students at first. This project would enable the students to tackle and to realize the issue of this problematic, as well as to improve their language and digital skills. This project would also enable to their experience of mobility and to value it on a resume. The teachers will also take advantage in this project. Apart from the educational exchanges, the team work (intra or transnational) will be strengthened and developed. We’ll have two goals to achieve on both the form and the substance. The formal and informal communication will be facilitated and more spontaneous between the participants. In addition, the students will get familiar with the intended issue and will improve their language and digital skills. These objectives will be achieved by the creation of manual of tips how to behave at work to avoid risky situations (from wich some posters wil be created), short videos and dictionary of logistics and transportation terms. One of short videos will represent the project of the two schools at a contest organized by INRS (National Institute for the prevention of accidents at work and professional diseases). This contest is entitled “Health and Safety at work: from school to workplace, it’s up to you to film”. The project will be also involved during the European Vocational Skills Week. Thanks to all these activities, the participants will be able to work differently mainly by cooperating with students from another country, to stimulate their creativity and to carry out numerous skills especially language and digital skills. The platform eTwinning will be used to perform the activities. The work will be synchronous and asynchronous. We’ ll prepare and organize the future physical mobilities but we’ll mostly work on virtual mobilities. Moreover, all the activities will be recorded on eTwinning so that the project management can be seen by everybody. The participants aged 16 to 19 study LOGISTICS/TRANSPORT. The whole school team will be involved in the project. For the French vocational school, the participants will come from the 1ère BAC PRO LOGISTIQUE/TRANSPORT (24 students). Eight students and three teachers will take part in every physical mobility. For the Polish school, the participants will come from the third year of LOGISTICS (MATURA: similar to BACCALAUREAT). Eight students and three teachers will take part in the physical mobilities. This project is part of the students’ school curriculum. Throughout the two years the project will serve as guidelines for the teachers to mainstream the activities to their teaching.During every physical mobility, the students will attend a training related to safety in warehouses, will do artistic and professional work (pictures, posters, videos), they will visit companies and organizations relevant in safety at work and will study regulations related to safety in companies in the host country. The students will be able to assess themselves regularly in the language and digital fields. Their involvement will be also assessed during the two years thanks to a record with items such as regular attendance, a renewed interest, familiarity with the health and safety at work issue. An exhibition will be organized to show the students’ works with an official opening in each school and will be made available to the school community (on the website of the partner school, on education sites and on eTwinning and on Facebook page) at the end of the project. The participants also will participate to events ERASMUS DAY and the European Vocational SKills Week

Tadeusza Kosciuszki w Lublinie,Consejería de Educación,IEFP,Itä-Savon koulutuskuntayhtymäFunder: European Commission Project Code: 2019-1-ES01-KA202-065727Funder Contribution: 109,980 EURAlthough international alliances and international mobility systems are well developed at European level in some areas of education, the situation is quite different in the field of Vocational Education and Training (VET), and to a much lesser extent in that of Dual VET (DVET). Thus, international partnerships and mobilities of students are still a rare phenomenon in Europe in VET and relatively uncommon among apprentices/trainees: the share of mobilities in VET is low in comparison to other mobility fields (e.g. higher education) and their mobility experiences vary significantly due to important differences between national educational systems, youth labour markets and socio-cultural schemes.Within this context, the doALLVET project (Strategic Alliances for Quality Dual VET and International Mobilities) aims to establish and reinforce strategic international partnerships so as to: a) improve awareness and knowledge of VET models between EU countries with different levels of development; and b) develop and reinforce international mobilities schemes among students, teachers and school management staff in strategic sectors (e.g. 4.0 industry, food industry, tourism and services), while focusing in the capacities of (D)VET and international mobilities to reinforce social inclusion. Thanks to the project, the participants will have the opportunity to: - Improve their knowledge about the different DVET systems existing across Europe, including the best practices to adopt in order to a better implementation and development of DVET schemes in their territories. To do so, partners have selected key criteria from the Recommendation on a European Framework for Quality and Effective Apprenticeships that are currently important challenges they face: learning outcomes and recognition of qualifications; support for companies; flexible pathways and mobility; career guidance and awareness-raising; quality assurance and graduate tracking.- Set-up networks of contacts of public administrations, VET providers and companies at an international level, to stablish long-term alliances which will be the basis for increasing and consolidating the number of international mobilities in VET.In order to achieve this, the project will follow a peer-learning methodology based on 6 peer-learning activities, taking place in Castilla y León (Spain), Lisbon (Portugal), Lublin (Poland), Paderborn (Germany) and Savonlinna (Finland) and a final one in Castilla y León (Spain), aimed at providing a general understanding of the dual VET model of the regions participating in the project, as well as to visit key VET providers that can be part of international mobility strategic alliances. Their participants will be, on the one hand, staff members of the partners’ organisations, and on the other hand, representatives governmental departments with competences in the design and implementation of dual VET schemes; education centres/schools with dual VET studies and business organizations (employers’ associations, chambers of commerce, etc.) from the regions taking part in the consortium . By means of these activities, the following main results are expected: - The increase of the alliances for international mobilities in VET among public administrations, VET providers and companies.- The increase in the number of sectors engaged in DVET schemes, as well as taking part in international strategic alliances.- The increase in the number of students and staff (teachers and school management team) that enrol in international mobilities in VET.- The increase the number of students and staff that have a positive and quality experience in international mobilities in VET.- An improved connection of DVET and labour market demand at a local, regional and national level. It is expected that the results of the project will be consolidated and multiplied beyond its duration, as as consequence of the closer relationships created through the strategic partnership. This will lead to longer-term benefits at the European level:- Increasing the number of students and staff that take part in international mobilities between different regions and countries.- Improving the financial support and sustainability of international mobilities in DVET.- Improving the connection between DVET and the needs/demand of the labour market at local, regional and national level.- Standardising processes, protocols and tools for international mobilities, contributing to the set-up of homogeneous frameworks for the recognition of qualifications in VET.

The system will be set up in such a way that VET teachers can use it to acquire and develop competences in order to meet the requirements arising in the course of changes in the world of work with regard to digital transformation, agile methods, heterogeneity, interdisciplinary and cross-sectoral collaborations and transfer them to contemporary vocational training.<< Implementation >>The project will create a digital working and learning environment as a basis for a learning journey. The journey will be carried out by VET teachers from the partners. A blended learning approach with self-learning phases, live-online and face-to-face workshops will be used to work on the above-mentioned requirements and primarily to create contemporary learning settings. The process of the learning journey is formatively evaluated and accompanied by impulse providers / learning guides.<< Results >>As a result, we get a complete and adaptable (remix cc licenced) system for guided teacher training that can be used from individual teachers to VET networks. This includes learning modules, agile workshop settings, curricula, peer2peer methods of internal training, agile VET learning settings, evaluation methodology, evaluation tools and feedbacks, a transfer guide with instructions for individual implementation as well as a road map as a central control and reflection instrument.

The project could benefit from the experience acquired by the Moravie-Silesia and Great Eastern Regions in a previous project (AJUSTE). Facing similar difficulties such as high rate of unemployment and decreasing interest of young people for vocational initial training, these partner regions decided to share their knowledge and experience and expand their cooperation in regards to projects related to lifelong education and vocational training.Consequently, the main objective of this project was to help increase the employability of pupils from vocational schools by promoting the sharing of know-how and best practices between people active in the fields of education and/or vocational training, such as schools, local governments and educational institutions.Four fields of training were chosen by the regions for this project: agriculture, transport/logistic, chemistry and hotel business and catering. The aim of the partnership was to increase the attractiveness and perception of these fields which are among the most important economic branches in the 3 regions and were identified as well as the most required for a European cooperation. In each region, one school from each field participated (12 schools as a whole) into staff exchanges and training activities for teachers (first year) and pupils (second year). The Great Eastern Region was the main coordinator of the project and the Rectorat de l’Académie de Nancy-Metz participated as an associate partner to keep the link with schools. Moravia-Silesia and Lubelskie regions acted as regional coordinators and responsible for ensuring relations with the local schools and organizing local meetings and mobilities. This organization guaranteed a successful and smooth implementation of the project in the 3 territories. Concretely, the following activities were developed during the 2 years of the project:- Transnational meetings between the main and regional coordinators,- Pedagogues and staff exchanges in each partner region,- Training activities for the pupils in each partner region, associated with virtual mobility. Concerning the outputs of the project, the partners realized a mobility handbook resuming the experience of cooperation, that can be used as a “toolkit” for increasing and facilitating other similar experiences, as it contains all templates used by the partners (agreements, evaluation sheets…).The partners managed to preserve created school partnerships after the project realization as all schools plan to cooperate in new projects. Finally, this project strengthened the links between the 3 regional authorities and helped them identify new opportunities of cooperation as they already work to submit a new strategic partnership in the area of health and care education and work.
