    << Objectives >>- promote quality and innovation in youth work to support the creative potential of young people- raise awareness among young people on European issues by stimulating them towards active citizenship initiatives- support the social inclusion of the most vulnerable young people through the involvement of participants with fewer opportunities and the promotion of European values- improve partners' capacities and base of competences to strengthen their role as key actors in their communities<< Implementation >>The project is made of 3 blended mobilities, consisting of 2-days online events followed (one week apart) by 6 days (travel included) of residential youth exchanges. These mobilities will be preceded by a kick-off meeting and followed by a final evaluation meeting.The online part of the blended mobilities, that will take place before the residential ones, will complement the latter, which will be carried out by young people with the support of leaders and youth workers from each partner NGO<< Results >>In the short term, participants and partners will improve their competences, especially in terms of greater participation in social and civic life, promotion of common European values and contribution to the social inclusion of the most disadvantaged.In the long run, participation in the project will make them active and responsible actors and promoters of social change, more committed to address the problems of their communities but also increasing employment opportunities within local context

    In the context of the ongoing refugee and migrant crisis in Europe and the risk of marginalization of the newly arrived refugees and migrants, 4 organizations from Sweden, Italy, Bulgaria and Germany developed the Erasmus+ KA2 project “Short Stories - Big Changes”. It has the objective to contribute to the integration and social inclusion of young refugees, migrants and other marginalized young people, to promote fundamental European values such as tolerance, solidarity, understanding of diversity, and, hence, to combat discrimination, racism and xenophobia. The main aims of this project are to contribute to the social inclusion, integration and empowerment of young refugees and migrants in the participating countries and beyond, as well as to build the capacity of the participating organizations and other civil society organizations in the field of social inclusion, integration and empowerment of young refugees and migrants.These aims will be reached through the planned activities which are:-A kick-off meeting of the representatives/coordinators of the partner NGOs, which will take place in Sweden and will provide a space for coordination and tasks assignment, clarification of practical and organizational issues-Development of guidelines (training methodology) for youth workers on the use of non-formal education methods, specifically storytelling, creating powerful messages and audiovisual products for empowering young refugees and migrants through showcasing positive examples of integration. The guidelines will also include methodologies for involving celebrities for advocacy and for using the storytelling techniques online (through videos) and live (Living Library methodology)-An international training for youth workers based on the developed guidelines which will take place in Sweden, in Södertälje, and will involve 5 youth workers per partner Country-Multiplier event in Germany to disseminate the guidelines and project results of the first part of the project-Mid-term meeting organized in Bulgaria, which will contribute for monitoring and evaluating the progress of the project, the activities implemented by each partner; it will also serve for planning the remaining activities, for clarifying practical aspects of the project management and implementation-Creation of the second intellectual output consisting of two types of short videos: young refugees and migrants sharing their successful stories of integration in the local communities in the partner countries; celebrities (opinion leaders, influencers, policy makers, artists, etc.) from partner countries sharing their positive messages related to the integration of refugees and migrants-Multiplier event in Italy to promote the videos created in each partner country - involving other stakeholders, refugees, migrants, local community - showing selected videos, discussing and presenting the results of the project-Living Library events in each partner country - giving the floor to refugees and migrants who have positive stories to share, as well as to youth workers who work in this field-Final conference in Italy during which representatives of all partners will gather in order to present and discuss the outputs and the results of the project, to plan future steps and follow-up activities The two outputs of the project: the Guidelines for youth workers: A Story Makes a Difference and the Series of Videos: A Story Makes a Difference will include an innovative element and will be widely disseminated in the partner countries using online tools, social and traditional media, contacting other stakeholders. The outputs will be presented during the local multiplying events in each country, as well as during the final conference, and will be available online for anyone, also after the end of the project. Through this project the partners from 4 European Countries will not only to build their capacity as well as the capacities of youth workers who work with young refugees and migrants, but will also encourage the participation of young refugees and migrants in society, will inspire them to make a change and to overcome challenges, will promote constructive dialogue, tolerance and acceptance among the local communities, will contribute to the social integration of refugees, migrants and other marginalized groups

    In the context of the ongoing refugee and migrant crisis in Europe and the risk of marginalization of the newly arrived refugees and migrants, 5 organizations from Bulgaria, Italy, Greece, Austria and Turkey developed the Erasmus+ KA2 project “It’s All About Solidarity”. The project will focus on the social inclusion, integration and empowerment of young refugees and migrants. The main aims of this project are to contribute to the social inclusion, integration and empowerment of young refugees and migrants in the participating countries and beyond, as well as to build the capacity of the participating organizations and other civil society organizations in the field of social inclusion, integration and empowerment of young refugees and migrants. It has the objective to contribute to the integration and social inclusion of young refugees, migrants and other marginalized young people, to promote fundamental European values, such as tolerance, solidarity, understanding of diversity, and, hence, to combat discrimination, racism and xenophobia.These aims will be reached through the planned activities which are:-A 1-day kick-off meeting between the representatives of the partner countries, which will take place in Bulgaria in September 2019 and will provide a space for coordination and tasks assignment, clarification of practical and organizational issues. The agenda of the upcoming international training will be discussed and agreed upon.-A 5-days international training for youth workers based on the expertise of each partner and their experience in working with young refugees and migrants will take place in Bulgaria in November 2019 and will involve 5 youth workers per partner country. The main topic of the training will be focusing on good practices and methodologies related to non-formal education, storytelling, creating powerful messages and audiovisual products for empowering young refugees and migrants through showcasing positive examples of integration. The training will also include methodologies for involving celebrities (decision-makers, artists, journalists, influential people in each country) for advocacy, as well as techniques for storytelling online (through videos) and live (Living Library methodology).Between January and April the organizations will:-Create two types of short videos (5 videos per organization): young refugees and migrants sharing their successful stories of integration in the local communities in the partner countries; celebrities (opinion leaders, influencers, policy makers, artists, etc.) from partner countries sharing their positive messages related to the integration of refugees and migrants. The videos will be widely disseminated and promoted.-Organize a Living Library events in each partner country (1-day local event) - giving the floor to refugees and migrants who have positive stories to share, as well as to youth workers who work in this field.- A mid-term meeting (1-day meeting taking place in Greece) will be organized in February 2020 for the purpose of sharing the progress on the implementation of the local activities, share what challenges they have, if any, receive feedback and brainstorm on how to involve in an efficient and meaningful way the disadvantaged young people from migrant background in the activities.- A final conference in Italy in May 2020 (2 days) during which representatives of all partners will gather, in order to present and discuss the results of the project, to plan future steps and follow-up activities.Through this project the partners from 5 European countries will not only share good practices and experience, building their capacity, as well as the capacities of youth workers who work with young refugees and migrants, but will also encourage the participation of young refugees and migrants in society, will inspire them to make a change and to overcome challenges, will promote constructive dialogue, tolerance and acceptance among the local communities, will contribute to the social integration of refugees, migrants and other marginalized groups as a long-term benefit from the project.

    << Objectives >>Within DOCC we will develop a debate youth club model for delivering continuous, long-term programmes for youth participation and active citizenship based on debate and deliberation methodology. The outputs will support youth workers and organisations in engaging youth from immigrant backgrounds and increase their capacity to work with youth with different needs-refugee youth or second-generation immigrant youth. Outputs of the project will directly support 50 youth workers and 120 young people.<< Implementation >>To ensure high-quality outputs, partners will assemble debate model youth clubs with at least 10 young people and at least 3 youth workers per organisation who will be the co-creators and test-implementers of project materials. Their continuous participation will ensure our outputs are in line with the needs of our youth workers and participants. To test the toolkit on deliberation events, we will conduct 4 deliberation events nationally and 1 international online deliberation event.<< Results >>The concrete results are:Debate methodology package: debate youth club curricula and session plans and Train the trainer's toolkit for youth workers to become confident users of debate-based methods in youth work.Deliberation methodology package: a deliberation implementation toolkit, an e-learning course on deliberation set-up and a youth-friendly adaptation of the Your priorities platform to support youth and youth workers to use deliberation to gain practical experience in participation.

    Challenging traditional leadership – empowering women! is a long term project proposed from 7 partners from EU and WB. It is composed of activities aimed it raising the capacity building of partners and other stakeholders and mobilities that allow young people and youth workers to learn in an inter-cultural learning environment. Activities: 1. Kick Off Meeting of Partners 2. Training of Trainers “From Power over to power to-transformative leadership in a man’s world”3. Local Campaign “iLEAD for Equity”4. Youth Exchange “Youth leaders as change makers”5. Seminar The main aim of the project is to train and empower youth workers, youth leaders and young people advocate for transformational leadership while raising awareness about traditional gender roles with regards to the women empowerment. Our project shall address gender as an equality issue, with positive approach to diminish the negative stereotypes and discrimination related to sex and/or gender and promote equity and collaborative leadership in society. This project focuses on putting the participants in a safe environment where they are given space, time, means and support to self-reflection, self-empowerment and improvement. Our project goes out of the feminism rhetoric, and seeks to approach gender as an equity issue and look closely to the “power over – power to- power with” approaches that go in line very well to traditional leadership and gender discrimination in today’s society. By bringing youth in a position to analyse and critically think on the topics we aim at allowing and supporting them to create their own opining and responsibility for their future actions.OBJECTIVES:- Train youth workers/leaders and young people on how to promote gender equity, fight the gender stereotypes and promote the transformative leadership education for empowered societies.- Challenging and changing existing structures, institutions, practices, customs, norms, values, attitudes, and beliefs where these are barriers to the achievement of women’s rights and the rights of all people, regardless of gender or sexual identity. - Support and improve skills of youth workers by giving them practical and professional skills in leadership styles and values.- Increase the awareness about importance of gendered leadership; - Analyze existing cases and design a structured strategy on how to approach and transform practices through youth work, gender mainstreaming and gender culture;- Foster the participation of youth workers in taking role of advocates and ensure ethical conduct in leadership world.- Promote the Erasmus + as a strong tool for promoting transformative leadership and gender equity.- Create an effective practice that can be used by all the partner promoters and the wider networks.
