In Denmark, a law came into force that eliminated the personal customer services and all the cases have to be managed through remote administration by Internet. As Denmark is at the forefront of digitalisation, participants of our ERASMUS + 15/KA1AE/3340 project could visit Telecentre Danmark and get acquainted with the organization's adult training system, its legal background, programs, effective training organization and their software. They have gained useful information on how, by what methods they reach the elderly people, the hard-to-reach strata of the society and how generations can help each other. They could study their network of educational activities and marketing activities. We learned from the Danes that with the help of volunteer helpers of the same age group they reach the elderly, the hard-to-reach strata of the society, since we are the last in Europe in elderly Internet usage. The main reason for this, according to a 2005 study (http://www.05.ibm.com/hu/social/idos/dn/kutatas.pdf), lies in the fact that the Hungarian companies were not, or very little, sacrificed to the further training of an aging population. The age group affected by the survey has now become retired. The purpose of the application was:- reducing the vulnerability of aging society- creating possibility for the elderly people to keep contact with friends and family members in an inexpensive way- making possible for elderly people with limited mobility to manage their things without traveling- lesser burdens for younger family members who always have a shortage of time- providing meaningful activities for elderly people The aim of the project was to train such elderly (beyond 60 years old) and young (between 18 and 30 years old) teamleaders, who are capable to build relationships and teams after the training in their own communities in the field of elderly training, including the use of Infocommunication Techniques and Senior Adult Counseling. This project aimed to create networking and capacity-building between project partners and stakeholders involved, from 5 different countries. Consequently, the objective of this project was to facilitate a pathway for up-skilling individuals between the ages of 55 and 75 years in their digital competences and to make them aware of some of the many opportunities and benefits that the Internet has to offer. This project was carried out transnationally to make sure there is a solid ‘exchange of practices’. This strategic partnership project brought together countries from different levels of the digital gap spectrum. Taking a look at Eurostat statistics of individuals who have never used the Internet between the ages of 55 and 74 years of age, sees Malta and Slovenia in the same level of digital gap of 45%, while Germany's stands at 20%, Belgium 24% and Switzerland at only 11% at the time of application. Through this project's outputs we offered a catching-up opportunity to target what has come to be called “online ageing” by offering different possibilities on how the Internet can play an important role in improving the quality of life through on-line social interaction. This project took into account issues that come along with ageing. These are problems that the elderly have to overcome when interacting with a computer. For this purpose, a session was also held during Piloting 2 with all participants called ""Rethinking Pedagogy"" with Dr. Maria Cutajar on the preparation of teaching material taking into account all the difficulties that seniors might suffer to be able to follow. This project featured Life Long Learning covering formal, non-formal and informal learning, which can become the most effective and efficient instrument for combating social exclusion by empowering individual empowerment especially in the last 2 years where many people, mostly seniors and people living alone, were isolated during lockdown. This situation created a particular sadness amongst the elderly, as it continued to seclude them not only from the outside world but also from their immediate families. The results achieved through this project were to reach and increase a more digitally inclusive elderly society and they in turn, as project participants themselves, further continue to reach other seniors through the dissemination of the project, thanks to their successful following and completion of training received. This created a ripple effect of learning within society on making use of the Internet and its benefits. These project results are meant to be beneficial for other organisations, researchers and training providers working with older adults seeking to improve their digital skills and increase further their awareness on the benefits gained by accessing technology. The Training Manual and Online Academy have been designed in English which made it easier for other countries to use and translate. Participants, also referred to as ambassadors, were chosen through a public call, requesting the possession of the following criteria, in order be eligible:- Ability to speak, read and writing of the English language;- Be between the ages of 55 and 74 years of age;- Willing to take part in dissemination activities;- Be involved in the community in a such a way to be beneficial to act as an ambassador for the project to disseminate its results.Consequently, the consortium of this project worked to bring together:- A set of best practices and Open Educational Resources (OERs) (Output 1) (30 face to face hours);- Development of a training manual, with a supporting Online Academy available online for the public (Output 2), to keep practicing at the leisure of their home and as much as they like;- Choose eligible participants, also called ambassadors, through a public call (24 participants in total for both piloting phases);- Transnational Partners Meetings and other online meetings during the worldwide lockdown;- Learning, Teaching and Training Activities1 (LTTAs) and LTTA2;- Production of Golden Rules to all modules produced;- Log book written and collated by the participating ambassadors;- Production of a set of recommendations for stakeholders and policy makers (Output 3);- Multiplier Events, as part of dissemination;- An exploitation plan on how to best sustain the project a year from its closure; and - Conclusions that came out following the implementation of the project."

The project will gather information on the current market conditions regarding the almost exponential growth of CrowdFunding in certain countries and amalgamate this into a pan-European vision of CrowdFunding. This will include all the key areas on both the demand and supply side of this funding mechanism. The key groups are those seeking financial support, primarily SME's, but including start-ups and social enterprises and on the supply side entrepreneurs looking to support business investment. In addition those support agencies such as Innovation Centres, Cluster managers, and organizations, both public and private that look to support business and economic development, locally, Regionally and Nationally will be able learn more about how to use and promote CrowdFunding. The project brings together a group of countries both at the forefront of CrowdFunding, (UK & Estonia) and those lagging behind, (Spain, Ireland & Greece) and suffering acutely from the withdrawal/failure within their own countries’ supply of conventional business financial support. In addition CRUCIAL includes partners from the Czech Republic and Malta who bring specific expertise to assist the development of the materials and their successful dissemination into the marketplace, in addition to access to dissemination within their local communities. The main output will be a totally free access learning platform, with on-line knowledge awareness and learning materials, supported locally by direct partner intervention activities to better inform those considering how to benefit from this funding mechanism.Over 4,000 beneficiaries of all types are expected to visit and gain knowledge using the materials developed, and during the lifetime of the project the partners will track usage to monitor the impact that is being achieved, from a basic improvement in knowledge awareness up to the successful gain or release of funding to a business or construction of a support programme promoting CrowdFunding.

It can stimulate a widespread and shared awareness of the history and culture of the territory and contribute to the growth of a local, national and European identity. The participation of citizens and communities is the key to increasing awareness of the value of cultural heritage in Europe and its contribution to well-being and quality of life, as highlighted by the Faro Convention. To achieve this scope it is necessary to invest in processes of audience development, meant as a strategic and dynamic process that allows cultural organizations to put the public at the center of their action (Fitzcarraldo, 2017). In consideration of the importance of the involvement of citizens in the promotion and dissemination of cultural heritage, the project intends to promote the exchange of good practices identified in partner countries, which have already successfully tested methodologies and initiatives aimed at involving and engaging local communities in the promotion of local cultural heritage. In particular, the methodology, developed in Italy, of ""Digital Invasions"", which consists of ""invading"" a museum, an archaeological site, a historical center, an event, a monument, sharing the experience through social networks, will be tested in various countries, with the ultimate aim of disseminating the cultural experience with as many potential users as possible. Therefore, the general objective is to promote the exchange of good practices for the involvement of citizens in the promotion and dissemination of cultural heritage, through an innovative methodology based on the use of the new communication technologies. The specific objectives of the projects are: - To improve digital, communicative and managerial skills of European cultural and educational operators in order to make them promoters of the involvement of citizens in the promotion of local cultural heritage;; - To improve the digital skills of adults/citizens involved, through a non-formal methodology based on the use of new technologies for the promotion of places of historical/artistic/cultural interest; - To strengthen the cooperation between municipal administrations, cultural heritage management bodies, museums, civil society organizations from different European backgrounds. In order to achieve these objectives, we have identified two types target groups: 1) TG1 → ""Cultural operators"" who will be involved in the training and organization of digital invasions, as well as in the exchange of good practices 2) TG2→ new actors/publics that are proactive in the promotion of cultural heritage (citizens of the towns involved in the project). DIGINV will be implemented over a period of 24 months, during which the exchange of good practices will take place in all the European countries involved. The project will be articulated in the following actions: 1) Preparation stage - Kick-off meeting 2) Training of operators with exchange of good practices and experimentation of digital invasions: - LTTA n°1 about the methodology of digital invasions. The training will involve 5 operators from the partner organizations who will then be in charge of transferring the methodology within their own local context. The online stage will begin immediately after face to face training and will continue throughout the duration of the project. - LTTA n°2 about Digital Cultural Heritage. The training will involve the 5 operators already involved in the first LTTA. This phase will ensure the improvement of knowledge among operators on digital cultural heritage issues. The LTTA will alternate 4 project meetings (1 in each partner country) during which, in addition to the coordination activities, the participants will be trained on the good practices identified in the partner countries will be and digital invasions in the host country will be organized and implemented. 3) Conclusion and follow-up - Final meeting/experimentation of digital invasions in Italy The main project results/impacts are: - Improved digital skills of operators and citizens - Strengthened sense of belonging to one's own community and to the Union, greater participation in society, by citizens of the countries involved in the project - Consolidation of the dialogue between local authorities and cultural/ICT organizations - Implementation of a series of events (""Digital Invasions"") aimed at enhancing the cultural heritage through the use of new communication technologies - Video-tutorials on digital invasions - Reports on the exchange of good practices developed by the participants in the LTTA."
