This project will explore how online feminist practices take shape in increasingly popular yet under-researched practices of ephemeral social media by focusing on Instagram Stories, exploring the new dynamics these carry. This project explores the under-studied local context of Portugal. Portugal is experiencing a moment of political polarisation, which is reflected in its social media landscape. Feminist and political discourses are common on Instagram yet often met with backlash from conservative or right-wing voices. This is a rich and novel site for the analysis of these dynamics, revealing local particularities that are absent from Anglo-Saxon contexts. This project addresses three research objectives: analyse how feminisms are expressed through ephemeral social media affordances; explore what conventions and concerns underly the creation of feminist content; and examine how audiences engage with feminisms on Instagram. This project proposes an innovative ethics-driven, multi-methodological approach. It combines qualitative strategies with the use of digital tools for an exploratory analysis of feminist Instagram Stories; in-depth interviews with feminist content-creators; and focus groups with social media users who engage with feminist content on Instagram.

HYGIEIA project aims to design a ground-breaking transnational Master providing scientific knowledge and competencies that are applicable in strategies ensuring health and wellbeing through non-pharmacological approaches- use of Cosmetics, Food Supplements, and nutritional and lifestyle education. HYGIEIA- Promoting Health and Wellbeing Across the Lifespan Master aims to attract the best students worldwide aspiring to a career in the health and wellness industry and businesses, enabling them to make a significant contribution to the transformation of societies, not only from an economic perspective, but also by improving public health, thus increasing the resilience and sustainability of the populations.HYGIEIA will be led by Lusófona University (Lisbon), targeting a joint Master involving student mobility in HEI located in, at least, 3 Programme countries - Portugal, Spain and Serbia-the latter never having participated in an EMJMD. HYGIEIA will expand the EMJMD catalogue, currently limited to 10 human health-related degrees, with an area of scarce formative offer in the EU. The embryonic consortium has the USPaulo (Brazil) and 4 organizations/SMEs, but aims to weave a solid network based in industry, and relevant stakeholders, supporting the dissemination and sustainability of the Masters. HYGIEIA aims to foster transformation in the members of the consortium, boosting international awareness and providing a unique opportunity to tackle significant societal challenges whilst becoming meaningful contributors to the EHEA and inspiring regard towards the European project. Finally, HYGIEIA strives to modernize and internationalise curricula, teaching and learning practices and produce front-line research, whilst contributing to the development of common mechanisms related to quality assurance, accreditation and recognition of European degrees.

From grassroots to elite football, is widely considered to be the most popular sport in the world and continues to grow in popularity and participation rates. This European game has the power to propel social cohesion, inspiring the education of individuals and organisations. No high-level integrated transnational study programme exists at Master level, jointly delivered by an international consortia of higher education institutions (HEIs), that ensure the development and acquisition of all core competences that are needed from the scientific, pedagogical, didactic and technical point of views, for the successful professional integration of future skilled coaches, trainers, and/or members of sports science multidisciplinary teams from youth football to highly competitive international professional environments. A European Master in Football (Erasmus Mundus Football) [EMF^2] organized and provided jointly by a consortium of four HEIs will offer a genuine European learning experience to students. EMF^2 will be designed to be a 2-year European Joint Master Course, with a 120 ECTS curriculum over four semesters. The lead partner will be Lusófona University, in Lisbon, Portugal, while the remaining partners are University A Coruña, Spain; Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium; and the Palacký University Olomouc, Czech Republic. To set up the EMF^2, digital and face-to-face transnational project meetings, conferences and multiplier events will be carried out to design the joint mechanisms (e.g., fully integrated curriculum to be delivered by the consortium, student admission requirements and application; common services offered to students; Joint Student Agreement). EMF^2 graduates will benefit from extensive international collaboration and training opportunities, preparing them for a shifting sport and social landscape where creativity, innovation, flexibility, team work, intercultural skills and leadership will all be assets.
