The project focuses on establishing an international collaboration network on an international level in the field of development of public programs that support SMEs, specifically in the agri-food sector. For this purpose, the project uses a twinning methodology based on the identification of best practices and the collaboration and implication of all agents of the R&D+I system that contribute to innovation and the competitive improvement, within the framework of Smart Specialisation Strategies. As a result, a new support program for innovation for rural SMEs in the agri-food sector will be defined and implemented. The proposal is part of the INNOSUP-05 program for the peer-learning of regional and national Innovation Agencies that are working on innovation with SMEs and the three partners are: FIA (Chile), IDEPA (Asturias) and Dev'Up (Loire). The Agri-food is one of the sectors that enjoys a prominent presence in RIS3 Strategies of Europe (such as in Asturias and Loire). For this reason, the current project aims to improve the measures to support innovation by key agencies of the agri-food sector following these specific objectives: • Encourage and Promote transnational collaboration • Development of specific tools and projects for the sector • Establishment of a mutual learning work methodology between innovation agencies • Diffusion of best practice cases, focused on the rural sector and SMEs • In the long-term, Social awareness regarding innovation opportunities The expected results of the Project are to generate a stable network of collaboration, to define a new program for SMEs in the agri-food sector and Design Option Paper (DOP) with a compilation of recommendations for the improvement of innovation systems in agriculture and the food industry. To achieve this, a work plan has been defined in five activities: 1) Desk analysis 2) Sharing experiences 3) Design of a Support Program 4) Recommendations for Support Agencies for Innovation and Development 5) Plan

In a survey undertaken in 2011 for DG Enterprise and Industry, SMEs and SME support organisations considered the inability to manage innovation processes efficiently and effectively as the second most important barrier to SME innovation (after 'lack of financial resources'). The TOPIC2INNO project aims at delivering services enhancing the innovation management capacity of SMEs by the Enterprise Europe Network TOPIC. Its geographical area covers the Paris Ile-de-France region, the Centre region, New Caledonia and French Polynesia. The project will be implemented during a 24-month period, from the 1st January 2015 to the 31st December 2016. The objective of this project is to: - Provide SMEs benefiting from the SME instrument with a regional support (“Key Account Manager”, hereafter KAM) - Provide a selection of SMEs that are capable of growth and successful internationalisation with an evaluation of their innovation capacities, and an action plan to address identified bottlenecks. (“Innovation Management System Advisers”, hereafter IMSA) The project will aim at initiating between 170 and 190 service packages. This number is based on the following assumptions: a. More than 50 SMEs selected for phase 1 during the two-year duration b. More than 30 SMEs selected for phase 2 during the two-year duration c. Continuation of the SME journey from phase 1 to phase 2 or support by IMSA after phase 1 d. High interest from SMEs to benefit from the IMSA service

ACTT4Cosmetics aims at fostering the creation of a more efficient, open, inclusive, and interconnected innovation ecosystem in the field of cosmetics across Europe by drawing on the strengths of existing ecosystems and by pulling in new, less well-represented stakeholders and less advanced innovation territories. By implementing joint activities (between R&I actors, public authorities, and the private sector) towards innovation deployment, ACTT4Cosmetics aims to integrate the entire value chain of the cosmetic industry to implement structural changes such as digital and ecological transitions, but also innovation as a lever for sustainable growth to respond to the main local and EU challenges in the field of cosmetics for the benefit of the society. To improve the digital and sustainability maturity and to find innovative sustainable solutions, the consortium will use ACTT4Cosmetics to inform the stakeholders, train the entire ecosystem through capacity building actions, boost sectorial and cross sectorial collaborations and share funding opportunities. ACTT4Cosmetics has 3 ambitious general objectives in line with the HORIZON-EIE-2022-CONNECT-02 call expectations: (i) Innovation deployment through digital transition in the Cosmetic sector, (ii) Reinforcing Green Transition in the cosmetic sector in order to fight climate change, (iii) Create consumer/citizen awareness of, implication in, and sensibilization on cosmetic industry. ACTT4Cosmetics gathers 8 partners and 2 associated partners from 6 countries. The partners are very complementary as they have both common assets and separate key competences. An implementation plan is presented in the form of 7 work packages. Synergy in communication and dissemination by the partners and stakeholders will permit to maximize the ACTT4Cosmetics project impact. Solutions to overcome the fundamental barriers by creating an open, inclusive, efficient cosmetic ecosystem to go towards Digital, Green and Societal Transition all over Europe.
