<< Objectives >>AdoptID challenges children to think about real innovation challenges of companies. It is a Dutch initiative and a unique educational concept which makes it possible for entrepreneurs and students to learn from each other. Our main aim is to make AdoptID internationally available. Therefore we need to further improve and digitalize the package, and prepare a train-the-trainer package & implementation guidelines. Our objective is to test feasibility of internationalization with a pilot in Italy.<< Implementation >>This project will allow us to:1.Improve the AdoptID package (didactical framework and digitalization) and prepare a version for the Italian market (translation and adjustment to Italian school system);2.Develop evaluation surveys and a train-the-trainer package including implementation guidelines; 3.Run a pilot in NL (3 schools) and IT (2 schools); 4.Develop an action plan for international roll- out. Results will be disseminated widely.<< Results >>This project will result in an improved and internationally applicable AdoptID package. This package is largely scalable in the sense that it does not require the involvement of employees of Stichting AdoptIdee during the implementation anymore. The pilot in Italy will provide us with input to further plan the international roll out. On the long term, this project will enable schools throughout Europe to use AdoptID, and many students and entrepreneurs will learn from each other.

"Entrepreneurship is a key for the EU 2020 strategy objective, which is the smart, sustainable, inclusive growth. In higher education institutions (HEIs), entrepreneurship starts in classrooms and is largely determined by the development of entrepreneurial skills of university students and staff. A significant shortcoming for entrepreneurship promotion in the EU is the gap between high education (HE) and entrepreneurship practice. While most high education institutions (HEIs) offer entrepreneurship courses, seldom HEIs have concrete support systems to nurture students’ entrepreneurship. Even when those systems are in place, apart from few exceptions, support is either confined to specific sectors (e.g. ICT) or inefficient. The 2014 European Court of Auditors' Special Report No. 7 stresses how “incubation programmes were of a basic nature” and “provision of incubation services was rather limited”. The Report “deplores disappointing results delivered by the audited incubators” and recommends that “it is important to establish and share good practices” and that “incubators should be created in close cooperation with the educational system”. The European Council calls on European Commission and member states to “promote and support student ventures by providing sound guidance and make available coaching and incubators for aspiring entrepreneurs” (Conclusions on Entrepreneurship in Education, Dec. 2014). The European Commission also states that ""efforts across Member States to support and promote entrepreneurship in education are fragmented and lack coherence"" (Working Group on Entrepreneurship Education, 2014). There is an immediate need to overcome the fragmentation at EU level, which currently affects entrepreneurship promotion. In this context SUPER aimed to bridge the gap between education and entrepreneurship with concrete tools and training resources for both HEIs and students, addressing immediate needs and shortcomings identified at project preparation and corroborated by EU policy papers. The objective was to promote entrepreneurship already at HE level by empowering HEIs to establish suitable and effective entrepreneurship support systems. The partnership has brought together 6 partners from 6 countries (Belgium, Czech Rep., Italy, Slovakia, Spain, UK) representing the various dimensions of entrepreneurship in HE: HEIs, entrepreneurship facilitators and enterprises. The partnership has pooled public, private and NGO sectors and built on partners’ complementary skills, expertise, and capacities. This composition has ensured geographical coverage as well as project’s outcomes dissemination and valorisation across the EU.Partners have carried out the following activities::1. Development and maintenance of the multilingual SUPER OER Platform2. Identification of Critical Success & Failure Factors of business incubation and support in HEI3. Development of SUPER Incubation Toolkit comprising guidelines, Best Practices, checklists, etc.4. Development of training materials and courses in multilingual versions on entrepreneurship and business creation to be delivered to HE students, including an online business planning tool5. Pilot usage of the SUPER Toolkit with HEIs and courses with the goal to validate their relevance and accuracy6. Development of guidelines for uptake and implementation of the SUPER model, toolkit, and courses.SUPER generates immediate impact and long-term benefits to HE and entrepreneurship promotion throughout EU. The SUPER toolkit empowers HEIs to develop and embed efficient entrepreneurship support systems based on concrete evidence-based solutions and knowledge. SUPER OER becomes a platform not only for knowledge generation and sharing, but also as a focal point for HEIs and students to nurture entrepreneurship. All results and resources in multilingual versions are freely available to all interested parties through the platform without restrictions. Project partners committed to maintain the OER platform for at least two years after the end of EU co-financing. Open access as well as effective dissemination is the basis for future use of project results in EU in long-term manner.SUPER is fully in line with the horizontal and sectoral priorities of the Erasmus+ Programme: 1) Developing basic and transversal skills (such as entrepreneurship) in all fields of education, 2) Supporting the implementation of reforms in line with the 2011 EU Modernisation Agenda's priority areas, 3) Promoting entrepreneurship education and social entrepreneurship among young people."

"CONTEXT AND OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT Tour2Include aims to establish an innovative approach with the intention to support low-skilled migrants who would like to work in the Tourism Sector to acquire the necessary typical and soft skills. Taking into consideration that, according to Eurostat, 7% of the total workforce in Tourism comes from third, non-EU, countries (2016 data), the project focuses on targeted training opportunities which will offer better career perspectives to migrants away from undeclared work and marginalization. Besides, access to formal, dissent and secure jobs is one of the most efficient ways for Migrants' successful Integration into the recipient EU societies.Under this scope, the project has set the following objectives:- To identify the professions/positions within tourism sector where migrants could be better fit - To support low-skilled migrants in order to acquire the necessary hard and soft/intercultural skills and competencies so as to be able to access the ever demanding tourism sector- To assess migrants' prior learning and determine a renewed skillset that corresponds to the existing demands of the Tourism Sector- To develop training programmes and materials targeted to the needs of migrants and their tutors.- To offer better career perspectives to migrants who work or wish to work in the Tourism Sector- To increase migrants' employability in the Tourism Sector and streamline it through formal channels of employment, offering a higher protection level away from undeclared work.- To enhance migrants' integration into EU societies through their inclusion into the labour market.MAIN RESULTSThe main results could be summarized in:- Development of a self-assessment tool to be used by migrants themselves as a method to evaluate their current skills, competencies and formal and non-formal qualifications in the identified tourism-related professions.- A typology of qualifications and soft skills which migrants lack but they are of paramount importance within the Tourism Sector- Design of migrants-oriented training materials for the identified tourism-related professions/positions, grounded on the findings of existing gaps between their competencies and actual market needs that will have been determined during the assessment stage.- Development of an online platform, which will incorporate digital learning materials, lectures,""e-classrooms"" and interim and final tests, responding to the needs of a digitally-skilled migrants audience. On a second stage, the use of the platform will be efficiently promoted by partners to its end users with the intention to reach as many of them as possible. - Development of two training courses; one for tutors/trainers specialized in the Tourism Sector and experienced in working with migrants; the other for low-skilled migrants currently or potentially working in the Tourism Sector- Implementation of two pilot training sessions for the above described groups to assess the relevance of the developed training courses with the identified tourism professions/positions. - A career pathway for migrants that wish to work on the identified tourism professions/positionsNUMBER AND PROFILE OF PARTICIPANTSAlthough this project's aim is to reach as many beneficiaries and end users as possible, it will originally engage 18 tutors/trainers and 300 migrant learners who will take part in the training courses and pilot sessions. Other stakeholders, such as migrant organizations, businesses, tourist associations, VET providers, NGOs and local/national/European authorities will be contacted via partners' networks. IMPACT ENVISAGEDOur partnership aims to achieve a strong impact on local, national and European level, through well-designed and tailored activities depending on the target group we are, each time, addressing to. More specifically: Local/National Level- Migrants' standardization of hard and soft/intercultural skills will improve their perspectives in better career opportunities in the Tourism Sector, avoiding precarious jobs and marginalization.- Local communities and microeconomies will be benefitted by the intercultural exchanges and by migrants' work- The access of migrants to normal jobs and social security will contribute to increasing resources of social security funds and combatting social security contributions' evasion.- Migrants integration into the labour market and their collaboration with nationals will contribute to knocking down stereotypes and fighting racism.European Level- A common understanding is going to be established on the necessity of customized training materials and programmes for migrants- The project will contribute to the European dialogue on Migrants' Integration, supporting the argument that one significant factor for successful integration is their effective inclusion into the labour market- New policies on migrants' integration field could be inspired by project outcomes"

"More than 14 million family enterprises in Europe provide for 50% of GDP and 60 million jobs. In times of crisis, family enterprise play a crucial socio- economic role as an employment buffer and pivot of growth.Despite their role, at present there are no programmes and initiatives tailored to the specific needs of family enterprises whose competitiveness is undermined by specific challenges. As highlighted by the EU Parliament:1. The EU Commission does not have a family enterprise initiative since 20102. There are shortcomings in regulation, definitions, support system and training for family enterprises, exacerbated by high fragmentation among Member States3. There is a generalised lack of operational tools and training resources for family enterprises, especially those of micro-small sizeSuch challenges and needs are best captured by>(2210(INI)) 30.6.2015, “Family Business in Europe”, European Parliament>""Entrepreneurship Action Plan 2020"" EU Commission>“Identification of Future Skills Needs in Micro-Craft-Type Enterprises up to 2020”, EU CommissionSuch policy reports are corroborated by “industry reports”, like Ernst & Young “Family Business Yearbook” 2016/2017; KPMG “EU Family Business Barometer 2018”. Such official sources provide an alarming picture: family enterprises’ sustainability and competitiveness is undermined by specific challenges and needs:>promote specific training for family enterprises in fields like governance and management models>need to establish a direct link between training and family enterprises so that they can constantly upgrade and upskill their competences to face challenges in areas like management>develop digital entrepreneurship and digital skills for family enterprises>need for tailored training on internationalisation, especialy for family businesses of small and micro sizesVESTA has the objective of supoorting the growth and sustaining the competitiveness of family enterprises so that they can strive and continue to play that crucial role of social buffer and economic engine of growth, by developing innovative operational tools and training resources.PARTICIPANTS of the VESTA project include partners from the VET system (both formal and nonformal), support system and facilitation of entrepreneurship, family enterprises and Third Sector.VESTA brings together 6 partners from 5 countries, and at implementation will engage at least 200 target groups. A set of Associated Partners complement the participants, together with a series of policy and practice stakeholders that will be involved at implementation throughout various activities.ACTIVITIES that partner will carry out include:1. Develop and maintain the VESTA OER Platform to provide visibility to project activities and promote the adoption and use of the VESTA tools and resources in their multilingual versions2. Map the ecosystem of family enterprises to extrapolate dynamics of family enterprises to bridge the gap (operational, of definitions and training) identified by EU institutions3. Develop operational tools in support of family enterprises4. Develop and deliver innnovative training specifically tailored and targeted to family enterprises5. Validate in real operational environments the VESTA tools and training involving at least 200 target groups6. Promote the adoption and replication of VESTA by mainstreaming its use across EUMETODOLOGY is operational and practical, based on a “staged methodological approach” along the following phases:Mapping => Development => Delivery & Validation => Full OER Deployment ==> MainstreamingRESULTS of VESTA are the following:IO1 VESTA OER Platform that is open, free and multilanguageIO2 Mapping of the family enterprise ecosystem and family business dynamicsIO3 VESTA Operational Tools, at least 5 products, (Innovative governance models, generational transition, executive functions transfer, etc)IO4 VESTA Training, at least 10 courses with modular approach on specific family enterprise topics and content: governance, internationalisation, digital entrepreneurship, management, strategyIMPACT of VESTA is foreseen at various layers:=> Operational: 200 family enterprises will be involved at implementation in the pilot validation of the VESTA tools and training=> Systemic: facilitators of family enterprise and the VET system at large across EU can use, adopt, adapt and implement for free the VESTA tools and training=> Policy: VESTA provides inputs and informs the “evidence based policy making” mechanism providing and up-to-date and relevant mapping of the family enterprise phenomenon and its dynamics"
