The main mission of the Next Generation Internet for ALL, NGI4ALL, is to optimize the NGI brand equity, through the establishment of the NGI Outreach Office as a highly-qualified and well-positioned team of professionals to support and coordinate the definition and execution of the communication programme, strategy, branding and marketing activities. NGI4ALL will give a major impulse to the NGI growth, increasing its visibility and establishing a strong reputation in view of more ambitious plans beyond H2020. The NGI will be branded and voiced in a way that all research and innovation efforts in Europe and worldwide contributing to engineer a trusted, resilient and transparent Internet of the future will identify themselves in the NGI ideals and value proposition. This is the ambitious mission that will be accomplished by providing professional communication and marketing services, including curated contents, last generation online and offline media tools, coaching services and a broad pallet of collaterals. The NGI Outreach Office will be structured as a 360-degree communication agency at the service of the community to improve promotion of the NGI; coordinate strategic marketing decisions and plans across the whole programme; facilitate dissemination and transfer of know-how and technologies and foster the establishment of dialogues with prominent experts and relevant initiative in Europe and worldwide. The NGI4ALL consortium has been thoughtfully assembled to ensure a full coverage of all the competences required to achieve the goal of the project, whilst being compact and efficient. The partners bring strong individual skills to succeed in solving the various challenges, yet at the same time their skills combine into a perfect match to complete the ambition of NGI4ALL. To contribute shaping the Internet of the future as a more inclusive, trusted and open platform is a unique chance for the NGI4ALL partners that are all strongly committed to make it happen!

NGI vision is to re-imagine the Internet for the third millennium, which has to be an Internet of Human Values, resilient, trustworthy and sustainable. Blockchain and DLTs are promising technologies with enormous potential to develop a more human internet based on NGI Values, but these technologies face numerous challenges that could affect its full adoption. NGI-GO2S contributes to this vision by reinforcing the European Blockchain ecosystem and excellence in research by supporting 76 to 112 promising Bottom-up Projects [BuPs] able to develop and roll-out Advanced Blockchain Technologies [ABTs] aimed to close the scalability, interoperability and sustainability challenges. In order to get it, NGI-GO2S will leverage on Big Data Analytics technology -provided by INNEN, company specialised on advanced IT search solutions- to scout 1.000+ outstanding ‘Blockchain Talents’ and in FBC -the company specialised in building communities around innovative technologies- to attract and integrate outstanding researchers in the European Blockchain Ecosystem. An agile, transparent and flexible continuous 2-Stages Open Call scheme will select the best BuPs. We build on the experience that FBA -European leader in Financial Support to Third Parties- has on this field to make it simple and user-friendly, to allow committed ‘Blockchain Talents’ to focus on delivering solutions to important problems. Finally, NGI-GO2S will deliver a one-in-all Support Program for Standardization of ABTs that will increase the capability of BuPs by complementing their knowledge and skills with world class domain experts in fields, such as security and privacy, DLT technologies, standardisation or open commons business models. NLnet, the entity of reference in Internet domain at EU Level, will provide guidance and mentoring to tackle these topics. All this will contribute to turn excellence research into standards accepted across all kinds of application domains.

NGI4ALL.E aims to support NGI communication, marketing, and community building, helping the EC to engage a diverse community of stakeholders, spanning from researchers and innovators to policy makers and end users. By building on the experience gained by running the NGI Outreach Office, NGI4ALL.E will guarantee continuity of several essential activities, while injecting new ideas, tools and actions, based on the evolution of the demand and of the overall NGI context. It will strengthen and grow the NGI ecosystem in a sustainable and impactful way, maximizing and amplifying work and results of ongoing NGI projects, while attracting to the initiative newcomers especially from under-represented groups/areas. NGI4ALL.E will help sharpen the NGI vision and tie it to broader conversations about the development of ethical, human-centred digital technologies, improving NGI visibility, accessibility, and relevance towards non-technical audiences, in larger and more diverse contexts.

C-VoUCHER aims to develop new circular (cradle to cradle) value chains, disrupting traditional linear (cradle to waste) business models by means of cross-fertilization with Design Thinking experts and Circular Disruptors. This approach is empowered by 6 Regional entities (2 leading ones from SE and DK and 4 learning ones from ES, FR, PL and RO), which together with their 41 clusters representing 5,763 SMEs (linked as 3rd Parties, including 11 gold, 4 silver and 7 bronze label ones) will work, at cross-border level, on embedding circular economy (CE) model in their Smart Specialization Strategies. C-VoUCHER is the proof-of-concept framework where 24 selected Classic SMEs from traditional industries (Agro-Food, Health, Sea, Textile, and Manufacturing), will be offered an innovative 4-phase Circularity Program to develop 12 Circularity Solutions, to be then introduced in 42 Adopter SMEs with similar challenges. The regional CE Champions will be showcased to create ‘school’ at Regional Level and beyond. The project will leverage €6M of complementary funding for CE Champions and Adopters (provided by private and public investors). Also, a ‘Circular Design Toolkit for Regions’ will be produced to mainstream the methodology in the other EU Regions. The project will be coordinated by FBA, the European leader in Financial Support to Third Parties and supported by BLUMORPHO (Business and LEAN Innovation Accelerator) and Fundingbox Communities (expert in online marketing and community building). Industry actors: MADE (representing manufacturing companies), ARLA (biggest Scandinavian dairy producer), Green Ship of the Future (private partnership working for cleaner maritime industry), Neuca (Polish entity from Health sector), Lifestyle & Design Cluster (specializing in Textiles), will help to define the industry challenges. C-VoUCHER will demonstrate how Europe can disrupt traditional value chains and become the Europe of entrepreneurial regions.

The fifth generation of wireless technology (5G) has arrived and is being rolled out globally. First industrial sectors such as manufacturing are testing the capabilities of 5G showing great potential for ubiquitous connectivity. With the sixth generation (6G), wireless communication will bring new features, improved performance, and functional benefits to several industrial sectors. The TARGET-X project envisions accelerating the digital transformation of key verticals: energy, construction, automotive, and manufacturing using large-scale trials in multiple testbeds. By demonstrating, validating, and evaluating the potential of 5G/6G in real environments, the most advanced 5G/6G technologies such as real-time communication, localization, self-description, digital twinning, and sensor-network data fusion can be tested and evaluated. The focus of the evaluation is on KPIs and especially KVIs, such as sustainability, safety, security, and privacy. Based on these KVIs, new business models and a methodological assessment framework for economic and societal evaluation will be developed. The development of the solutions will be supported and guided by the TARGET-X community, a network of SMEs, IT- and OT-partners, and up to 100 FSTP third parties, bringing together a strong consortium with SMEs and innovation drivers. To reach TARGET-X's goals, a selection of use cases will be established for all verticals in the existing 5G testbeds. New 5G/6G features will be developed and integrated into the testbeds and validated in evolved use cases. The FTSP projects will both deliver new use cases and technical contributions. A large number of FTPS participants will strengthen the 5G/6G ecosystem. Results of the project will be discussed with 6G-SNS projects and used for standardization, also in the different verticals.
