The project MarMOOC, entitled «apprentissage hybride mutualisé et ouvert dans les universités Marocaines» (Shared blended and open learning for Moroccan universities), aims to support a thoughtful integration and wide distribution of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) as an efficient teaching support for Moroccan universities. In order to reduce the impact of massification of higher education and to improve the quality of the education delivered by Moroccan universities, MarMOOC will focus on the development of a widely shared platform, which proposes courses and innovative educational content online. In order to achieve this goal, several actions will be undertaken as part of this project:1. to foster the adoption of a blended learning approach, by promoting the use of new teaching practices such as the use of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC) and Small Private Online Courses (SPOC) for small groups;2. to lead Moroccan Universities in the process of design and development of rich and innovative teaching resources in six main academic areas: business administration, law, life and physical sciences, engineering, agriculture and fishery and health;3. to provide Moroccan universities with their first Moroccan shared joint platform of SPOC and MOOC courses, named MarMOOC;4. to contribute to the opening of Moroccan universities by implementing an inclusive and “on-demand” online education model. The partners involved in this project will cooperate in logic of sharing experiences and resources in order to ensure the optimization of resources deployed for the implementation of project activities.

The SALEEM project aims to foster student entrepreneurship in Morocco and Tunisia through the establishment of official status and support centers for student entrepreneurs in higher education systems. This will have the effect of improving the professional integration of students. There are several entrepreneurial support initiatives in Morocco and Tunisia, but these are not articulated or specifically tailored to the needs of a student audience. The project therefore has two specific objectives:1. Accompany the Ministries of Higher Education of Tunisia and Morocco in the setting up of a national system on student entrepreneurship;2. Strengthen the capacity of higher education institutions (HEIs) to support student entrepreneurs in four pilot cities, in partnership with employment agencies and economic actors. This will be done by sharing best practices developed in the field of student entrepreneurship, by ministries and HEIs of France, Belgium and Romania. The situation exposed will therefore be modified at 2 levels. At the national level, the higher education system of Morocco and Tunisia will recognize and create the right conditions for any student to study and simultaneously start up his or her company. At the local level, the support centers created on the campuses of four cities will allow students from all disciplines and several HEIs to have access to an equipped co-working space, specialized consulting support and relations with socio-economic actors. The objective beyond the project is that these poles multiply in other cities at the initiative of ministries, universities, and with the financial support of local public and private actors. The impact will therefore be a modernization of higher education systems and a reduction of student unemployment in Tunisia and Morocco.
