However, transferring knowledge and know-how does not always come naturally and can be frustrating to those who don't have prior teaching or coaching experience. Therefore, through K2GB, we will focus on developing teaching methods for those interested in passing on their competences. A partnership has been created between France, Turkey, the Netherlands and Portugal for this project. 1. A survey will be created based on the target organisations’ needs to identify the difficulties seniors have in transferring their skills in each partner country. This survey will be translated into the partner country’s language. The survey will then be distributed to organisations working in the domain of intergenerational exchange and transfer of knowledge by the partner organisations. The survey will be created during the kick-off meeting and distributed immediately after to the relevant organisations. 2. The results of this survey will be correlated by the partners, and a summary will be created and distributed between the participating intergenerational organisations. 3. From the organisations that answered the survey, four participants per country will be selected to take part in a European mobility exchange, so a total of 16 participants. An observation sheet will be created by the project coordinator based on the survey results and will be given to mobility participants. These participants will then undertake European exchanges of good practice. 4. For each European mobility exchange, the four participants will attend an observation / job shadowing with their counterpart organisations in the partner countries. Therefore, there will be four mobilities: one in France, one in Turkey, one in Portugal and one in the Netherlands. During these exchanges, the participants will look at the different best practices currently present which encourage active ageing and intergenerational solidarity in their respective geographical area. The observation sheet will be completed, and on the final day the participants will attend a round table, supervised by the local project partner, to exchange on their observations. The country partners will compile an inventory of European best practices from this to form part of the final materials developed during this project. 5. A second follow-up meeting will be held following the second European mobility of the participants. This meeting will aim to identify project strengths and weaknesses in order to take any corrective action if necessary to ensure complete success of the project. The partners will also share all information gathered by the participants of the first two mobilities to begin the toolkit making process using their training expertise. The creation of the inventory of Best Practices will also be started. 6. After the final two European mobilities, the partners will meet for the final transnational meeting. The aim will be to collect all observation sheets from the participants and to complete the K2GB toolkit and European inventory of best practices in intergenerational learning. The project coordinator will finalise the K2GB toolkit and a distribution plan will be agreed by all partners. 7. The tool kit will, then be distributed through many channels including the network of each of the partners and it will also be available for download on the K2GB website so as to increase the impact of this tool and to encourage wider use and dissemination. 8. An online feedback form will be created in order to measure the success of this tool kit and an online community will be created to facilitate discussion and exchange on the tool kit application.

When a family member is seriously ill, it does not affect just the person dealing with the illness but it affects all the family members. Naturally, the family member who is ill, require more attention and support, thus all the family members will need to do adjustments to find a new balance. Most of the times, the ones who are supporting the family are the ones who are left behind. This project will be focusing on young people who deal with a serious illness within their family. A parent or a sibling needs to be supported through this rough time. The The Karl Vella Foundation , Prisms (Malta), Istanbul Avrupa Arastirmalari Dernegi (Turkey) and Zavid Anima Vita (Slovenia), work to provide emotional, psychological and social support to young people who are dealing with such situations. Through this project, these young people will be channeling their worries, anger, frustration, fears and other issues which are important to them. This project will be offering space for these young people to express themselves through the art of storytelling and drawing. Through this project, these young people will also have the support and motivation to tackle these difficulties and embed themselves in the meaning-making process which is vital for all adolescents. This project will be also including Elderly who are residents in retirement homes. The young people throughout this project will be interviewing the elderly persons in the homes and ask them about the values which they see important. The elderly persons will talk about their experiences and how they overcame obstacles in lives. This will create a mentor-learner relationship which will have a twofold objective. The first objective would be for young people to express their feelings and the second is that the elderly will be given space where they can contribute to their community through their guidance. The main objective of this project is to: - Offer support to 80 young persons who are going through a rough patch in their lives due to a serious illness within their family.- Offer a space for young people to express their emotions- Use art and storytelling as a method of expression and coping mechanism- Launch a mentoring programme between young people and senior citizens- Create innovative online tools so that the stories and pictures produced will be used in schools and youth centers so that more young people can benefit fromAs a result of this project there will be four intellectual outputs:- Filming of interviews conducted by the participants to the senior citizens- Let me Express Tool kit - outline of the session designed and delivered during this project - Short stories with an illustration which will be created by the participants - The website which will have the information about the project, the methodology used and the intellectual outputs The results and the four intellectual outputs of this project will be used in Schools and integrated with the personal and social development in Malta, Turkey and Slovenia. The results will also be uploaded on SALTO toolbox and shared amongst PRISMA, European Youth Forum, Anna Lindth and Garage Erasmus which together they have more than 50,000 members. This project as a methodology will be using non-formal education together with methods used by counselors and psychotherapists.

It has brought major changes to how we learn, teach, communicate and collaborate within and between our education and training communities. This has had an impact on learners, their families, teachers, trainers, institution leaders, as well as on the broader society. ” This introduction to the Council conclusions on countering the COVID-19 crisis in education and training was the starting point for the consortium to plan an initiative that combined contemporary digital advances in learning technologies that can be implemented in a remote context, designed to provide trainees with a supportive and responsive learning environment that takes into account the “new” challenges that a rudimentary transfer of traditional classroom-based resources to the home or other context was not as effective as it could have been.In this context, STAY+ is a project to gamify positive behaviours of young people during the pandemic and beyond. It seeks to provide an innovative solution for VET professionals that have found it challenging to engage young people (aged 15-21 years old) through the transition to online/distance learning. It specifically looks to promote positive behaviours that protect learner wellbeing and have an overall improvement on retention rates. STAY+ will be unique in its approach as it seeks to:•gamify health and wellbeing best practice into an educational/training digital platform•use leading digital marketing and engagement techniques in an educational/training setting•use location-based data to tailor the mobile-experience to where you are in the worldThe project will be based on the ‘Stay’ mobile interactive site that has piloted a rewards scheme for young people adhering to the COVID-19 UK government guidelines (and those also seen across Europe) to #StayAtHome, driving positive action and behaviours. The current platform allows users to earn unique digital merchandise (badges) based on their activity and utilises GPS technology to reward them for staying at home. The STAY+ project will build upon this innovative model to embed rewards into VET digital learning environments with a sustainable, flexible and long term view beyond the current pandemic. It will develop the initial concept further through transnational cooperation and a range of reports, resources and tools targeting the specific needs of VET organisations. Outputs are based on best practice, research and development, and sustainability including:- 10 Best Practices that highlight the positive role VET providers can play in helping to protect learner wellbeing- Research on VET learner engagement and wellbeing during the COVID-19 pandemic- the STAY+ Platform- practical guide on using the STAY+ platform - A short self assessment checklist on the readiness of VET organisations to start the co-creation process of badges, and subsequently to promote transnational co-creation at the same time- Co-creation guidelines for digital agencies working with VET organisations and learners to create their own badges- Guidelines on monitoring student engagement and promoting wellbeing in digital learning - how the two are interlinked- Ethical guidelines for digital inclusion - how to avoid widening the gap for disadvantaged learnersThe STAY+ Platform will be developed with the overarching objective of empowering young people to become advocates of digital vocational training; with increased awareness of a subject area, health and wellbeing, and how to maintain their own motivation, manage their time and complete tasks. The desired impact of this objective is to improve engagement and retention levels of learners on vocational training courses
