The main mission of the Next Generation Internet for ALL, NGI4ALL, is to optimize the NGI brand equity, through the establishment of the NGI Outreach Office as a highly-qualified and well-positioned team of professionals to support and coordinate the definition and execution of the communication programme, strategy, branding and marketing activities. NGI4ALL will give a major impulse to the NGI growth, increasing its visibility and establishing a strong reputation in view of more ambitious plans beyond H2020. The NGI will be branded and voiced in a way that all research and innovation efforts in Europe and worldwide contributing to engineer a trusted, resilient and transparent Internet of the future will identify themselves in the NGI ideals and value proposition. This is the ambitious mission that will be accomplished by providing professional communication and marketing services, including curated contents, last generation online and offline media tools, coaching services and a broad pallet of collaterals. The NGI Outreach Office will be structured as a 360-degree communication agency at the service of the community to improve promotion of the NGI; coordinate strategic marketing decisions and plans across the whole programme; facilitate dissemination and transfer of know-how and technologies and foster the establishment of dialogues with prominent experts and relevant initiative in Europe and worldwide. The NGI4ALL consortium has been thoughtfully assembled to ensure a full coverage of all the competences required to achieve the goal of the project, whilst being compact and efficient. The partners bring strong individual skills to succeed in solving the various challenges, yet at the same time their skills combine into a perfect match to complete the ambition of NGI4ALL. To contribute shaping the Internet of the future as a more inclusive, trusted and open platform is a unique chance for the NGI4ALL partners that are all strongly committed to make it happen!

HUB4CLOUD will assist growing the impact and relevance of Cloud Computing research, innovation and policy-driven efforts, while accelerating its adoption and deployments in Europe. By running dedicated coordination and support activities, including roadmapping, dissemination, organisation of events, mapping of open source/(pre-)standardisation initiatives, and business acceleration activities, HUB4CLOUD will ensure the creation of an open, inclusive, and sustainable ecosystem. To succeed in its ambition, HUB4CLOUD, as a rather small project, will “stand on the shoulders of giants”, meaning it will build upon and together other relevant ongoing efforts (), engaging top experts (Letters of Support/Intent from RedHat, GAIA-X, CERN, GÉANT, EOSC, HELIX NEBULA, NESSI, OW2, FIWARE, IBM, etc.) and featuring an impressive mix of experience and skills brought in by strong and committed partners. HUB4CLOUD build on the core principles of agility and value creation. Agility because besides dealing with a moving target, the ECC is in continuous evolution, in the transition towards Horizon Europe short iteration cycles to generate outputs will allow to answer the need of the community (including the EC) more effectively. Value creation because without clear benefits provided to its participants, it will not be possible to engage stakeholders (internal and newcomers/external) in the European Cloud Computing community in a durable way. HUB4CLOUD ultimate ambition is contribute building “a Europe fit for the digital age” in which digital technologies and solutions are strongly rooted in the core European values, spanning fundamental individual rights to market openness and environmental sustainability.

ChiC is a game-changing Coordination and Support Action aiming at maximizing the impact of the ICT-10 2015 projects and transforming CAPS in an Innovation Ecosystem. The consortium brings together well-experienced partners which can count on the lessons learned and the network acquired in on-going FP7 CSAs (in the CAPS field and beyond): this sound foundation will make us move the CAPS Programme one step further from day 1. In the last couple of years, CAPS-centered projects and initiatives have been successfully initiated and pursued by an increasing number of innovative and diverse players, including industry, academia local communities, grassroots activists, hackers, social entrepreneurs, students, citizens, creative industries and civil society organizations. There is a strong need to coordinate these efforts so as to maximize their impact for the whole European society. This is where the Creating high impact for CAPS (ChiC proposal comes with the ambition to act as a bridge between all CAPS-driven efforts and players, including the EC representative and related EU initiatives. ChiC is an ambitious 30 months CSA that groups a small, but very dynamic team of well-experienced players in the CAPS and related domains, which are committed to create broad impact on the basis of a well-structured and articulated work plan. ChiC will coordinate and support experimental and scientific efforts within the CAPS context to maximise their impacts and reach beyond current players for effective involvement and engagement of new stakeholders. The ambition of ChiC is to support the various CAPS and related projects by offering them concrete opportunities for networking, know-how sharing/exchange and effective promotion of their work and result, but also to ensure that the CAPS programme as a whole can grow as a unique, engaging and disruptive initiative.

Almost everyday we witness the rise of new cloud technologies, services and solutions. Despite the existing gap, with the US giants the European Cloud Community (ECC) is growing and leading the creation of Single Digital Market in Europe. Still, to strength such market, its fragmentation needs to be reduced. Beyond that, European market is largely dominated by SME that are struggling to adopt cloud services (beyond email and cloud storage) to innovate their business due to the lack of “cloud-culture” and trust toward cloud services. European Commission is leading a number of key actions (e.g. GDPR) to overcome these and other barriers, but it requires the help and the support of the ECC, in terms of a common technology vision, policies and recommendations. While strengthening the Digital Market is beyond the capabilities of European research funding programmes, a clear mandate is to lead the definition of the Strategic Innovation and Research Agenda for Cloud Computing that should provide recommendations and strategies to guide the future of European Cloud services and their market regulations. H-Cloud addresses this challenge by creating a sustainable forum of stakeholders representing the Cloud Computing research, industry and users with the aim to define a common vision for the future of Cloud Computing in Europe. Based on the outcomes of previous actions, H-Cloud will establish the ECC forum as a live community of organisations and individuals that will collaborate around different themes with the aim of addressing challenges and opportunities at research, technological, policy, standardisation and organisational level. The creation of a common vision on Cloud Computing, will be the key to unlock the potential of Cloud Computing to support the creation of a Digital Single Market. Through an open governance model and valuable incentives, H-Cloud will ensure that ECC Forum will outlast the project duration, becoming a valuable asset of the whole ECC.
