Plastic pollution permeates every aspect of our lives, but also highlights the importance of environmental care, protection and conservation. The fact that plastic pollution has detrimental health, social and economic effects compels us to think innovatively about how to address it. United Nation (2018) highlighted that -with today’s youth population (15-24 years) at 1.2 billion and further growth anticipated for the near future, investments in youth must be channelled to enable them to adopt sustainable methods for environmental protection. UN Environment Programme (UNEP) has said 'In 1950, the world’s population of 2.5 billion produced 1.5 million tons of plastic; in 2016, a global population of more than 7 billion people produced over 300 million tons of plastic – with severe consequences for the environment. Plastic pollution is destroying our lives, wildlife and our ecosystem. United Nations estimated that world’s population will reach 10 billion by 2050 relatively, it is expected the plastic production will triple. Recently, young people started a movement for the protection of the environment and their future. They need support from governments, NGOs and from all stakeholders. We all need to work together to equip youth and communities to reduce plastic pollution. The No Shame Foundation was founded to educate people with psoriasis and other skin diseases. In Poland, where specialists usually recommend using steroids for diseased skin, there are no other, less invasive solutions. We want to change it! We note that in Europe, many people with psoriasis or skin diseases have major problems in assimilating their surroundings. Skin diseases are not only a health problem, but they have a strong socio-economic background. Visible changes on the skin are the main reason for the decrease in quality of life. The disease translates into interpersonal relationships, physical activity, socio-professional activity and contacts with the family. Social withdrawal and the difficulty in establishing close relationships leads to avoiding contact with peers and spontaneous exclusion from social groups. Working with many adults, we need to monitor our progress and develop the skills needed to efficiently provide counseling and motivation among our adults. The research results show that patients who felt stigmatized in social situations had more severe depressive symptoms than patients who did not feel stigmatized. International research on skin diseases often raises issues of cultural background that also shapes the attitude of healthy people to the sick and affects the image of oneself as a person affected by the disease. Through international cooperation, we can easily define universal methods of cooperation with adults, their activation in society and conducting a reliable dialogue with them. The staff of our organizations cooperate on a daily basis with many adults on various types of projects. We meet people with various problems, motivations and ideas so our basic tools must be interpersonal and communication skills tailored to the needs of adults. We want the organization to grow internationally. We aim to create a European dialogue on adult education in the field of skin diseases, health and adult education in this field. Despite the experience already gained, we feel the need to constantly learn and learn new methods of cooperation with adults, just like our partners.Project goals :Education of the staff of the organizations participating in the project in the field of new cooperation techniques with adultsCreation and implementation of long-term strategic cooperation in the field of adult education between organizations participating in the projectDeveloping trainings on methods of cooperation with adults - their motivation, activation and inspiration for social actionDevelopment and implementation of new methods of managing educational projects for adultsImproving communication in the native languages and foreign languages of participants, in particular in English, which is the main language of the projectImprovement of digital competences, such as the use of a camera, video camera, computer and programs for photo editing and film processing.Improving the competences of the staff of partner organizations that allow conducting multi-threaded projects by adults and with adultsTeaching participants to work in a group, build a team and lead itRaising cultural awareness and expressing one's own ideas while respecting members of an international group from different backgroundsSupporting the education of people with fewer opportunities and their integration in international societyStaff education in international cooperationOrganization of an international conference associating non-governmental and business units on skin diseases and mental disordersExchange of knowledge about marketing implemented to reach adult target groupsEfficient and effective creation of social actions through cooperation with adultsThrough the organization of this project, we support the personal development of participants benefiting from non-formal education, whose main goal is learning through practice.
