Inclusion on stage

Description

"Project ""Inclusion on stage"" is a joint iniative of 4 organizations from Sweden, Poland, Ghana and Kenya. With this project we are going to acquire knowledge and skills to participants about creation, implementation and usage of new, innovative tools based on theatre of the oppressed for efficient inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities. The planed target group in this project are participants that are working with young with fewer opportunities people between age of 18 and 30 (ethnical, religious minorities, with early school leaving, social and economical problems) providing them practical experience of drama and theatre of oppressed methods. This 24-months project aims to create new, innovative methods and tools for social, economical and ethnical inclusion of youth people based on theatre of the oppressed and arrange all of them into open educational resources. Within our collaboration we are planning to implement 2 transnational meetings (kick off in Poland and final evaluation in Ghana), and 4 mobility of youth workers (in every participating country). Between every single phase all partners will be ""testing"" created tools and methods in their local communities. For final products we are going to create: an on-line platform with an innovative course based on theatre of oppressed methods, white board scribbing presenting the main idea behind all tools, sets of 4 ""regional"" reports and 1 general one from ""testing"" phase of activities, brochures from every sinle mobility with detailed description of methods used, youthube channel with tutorials of recorded tools and final project's movie. Every single activity will gather 20 youth workers. All planned objectives of this project are realistic and achievable. All our objectives are SMART Specific.Measurable.Achievable.Realistic.Timebound. Through the realization of the objectives of this project we want to through theatre of the oppressed stimulate young people's spirit of initiative, their ability to think imaginatively and originally, to promote through intercultural facilitation methodology based on theatre of the oppressed transnational non-formal learning mobility between Programme and Partner Countries, especially targeting young people with fewer opportunities, with a view to improving participants' level of competences and fostering their active participation in society, to encourage participants commitment to a more sustainable growth, promotion of way of active social participation and a way to acquire knowledge and skills useful for persons' professional development, to create participant multipliers who will implement the knowledge and skills acquired during this project in their local communities and to increase the capacity of the organizations that are working on the field of empowering youth by theatrical and drama methods. By accomplishing these tasks we ensure that all what is planned in the project will be achieved."
